I usually try to keep fats low - but when trying to lean out (loose body fat)
how do you guys use fats?? Cut completly?? - bump up the good ones??
Or just try to keep at a minimum?? (good ones - I mean fish oils, olive
oil, avacado's ect...)

No, keep the healthy fats. Omega-3's and Omega-6's are good for your health and good for muscle growth.
i agree, I've been adding in even more Flax and Fish oil caps everyday and it seems to be working for me

when cutting bodyfat, my diet usually only takes cuts from carb sources. when you eat 400-500 carbs a day, cutting a few isn't a big deal.

At my leanest while totally clean I was using like 15g of CLA a day, it stabilizes blood sugar while providing good fats like the ones you spoke of.

EFA's when dieting are very important. My body would never drop below the 5% bodyfat range required for competion without them. I have used flax, fish oils, and CLA before now I just prefer to eat some almonds and salmon. If you eat almonds or other nuts for your fats just pay close attention to how much of them you are eating.

I actually just listened to a long discussion about EFA's on No Bull Radio over at MD. It turns out there is a pretty big significance in the ratios of Omega 3, 6, and 9 that you take. I went and purchased the recommended product from that episode, Udo's Choice 3-6-9 blend. Apparently, there should be some very noticeable increases in stamina and fat loss with a proper ratio. It was a really good show with a lot of good info. I'm giving Palumbo's keto diet some serious thought.
