As you gain weight...

...how long does it take on average for the body to get used to carrying the extra weight? I've noticed that my own body doesn't like it if I gain too quickly and seems to go into a mode where I suddenly lose it all back to where I started from. I figure that if I gain weight slowly enough that my body will be sort of "tricked" into accepting it better. I'm at the point though that I notice I'm heavier--I can feel it. I'm just hoping that I can get through the point where my body's "weight thermostat" resets itself to the heavier weight.

I think we all have a genetic point that we are predisposed to. I know we can conquer those sticking points with help from gear and other supps, but it seems to me I have the same problem. For me, my body fights me anytime I get below 205. I know this is the opposite direction you are talking about, but I have hypo issues and just seem to feel worse. By the way, your arms make me sick. LOL

I tend to gain fast and then plateau...hard!

I just keep changing things up until it breaks. Ex: my current bulk I hit 230lbs which is where Im plateaued the past 3 freaking years when bulking. I upped food and just got fatter, so I added other workouts and cycled my "supplements" more. Seems to be working. now the hard part is keeping it.

my metabolism must be at a snails pace compared to you guys. I could probley not eat for a week and still weigh the same.

^^^ lmao same here bro. I lose muscle after a while i know that haha lost over 20 pounds and went up like 8% in body fat .

when you gain weight real fast, such as with steroids, your body will try to fight it off because it will think that something is wrong, like a disease or something. The best thing to do is to try to hold the weight for as long as possible, months! So your body will accept it. Dont do like I see so many people do, which is bulk up and then turn right around and lean out. That does nothing to you gain muscle. and these guys wonder why they can never gain qauilty weight.

I understand what you mean, nuknuk. I'll try to keep it as long as possible.

for me I'm a real slow gainer. Almost all of my cycles the results are the same. I put on 5lbs in the 1st 2 weeks and another 5lbs in the last 2 weeks. Then when i come off I lose the last 5 lbs. so really I walk away with only 5lbs per cycle. that's 10lbs a year I keep though.
