Great unwanted cardio and horrible story but you will laugh.

I went down the road about 2 miles to our church to get a couple of cokes to eat with supper. I have a key and they don't care because we help buy them. I was there and locked my keys in the church. I tried to pick the lock for 20 minutes. At this point I had been there nearly 50 minutes. I love my wife but she is freaking brain dead sometimes. An hour and ten minutes into this adventure I realize my running shoes are in the back seat and take off the flip flops and start the run. I ran home in about 15 minutes but it was up hill most of the way and to say my asthma was not cooperating would be an understatement. I got some great cardio and wanted to freaking kill my wife because she said she tried to call my cell phone and was going to come see in a little while where I was. She had the dog outside letting him poop. I would never hit her but I visualized doing mean things. I went off to say the least. Hope you enjoyed my sad story.

I guess it would also be important to say that I had no cell and there is only two houses between our house and the church. No one was home at either by the way.

Ouch. I used to be a running coach/personal trainer and worked in NYC while living out in Jersey and would take the bus home. I worked late one night after an 8 mile run and fell asleep on the bus on the way home and missed my stop. I woke up 3 miles later and got off and called my wife.... she let it ring and ring. I finally had to jog the 3 miles home in the heat and opened the door to find her sitting on the couch laughing and watching sitcoms and eating junk food. Needless to say I wanted to kill her.

I feel for you guys. I'm lucky I haven't had anything like that happen--yet.

Yes never say never. I can barely freaking walk today. I was already sore from destroying legs Monday.

Considering my luck, I've been through a lot of odd things, so it's probably only a matter of time, lol.

Hopefully not bro. I am caked with icy hot on my quads right now. I did a little cardio today to try to loosen them up and did some stretching.

Unfortunately I'm notorious for locking myself out of my apartment, but thankfully never had to deal with any ass-kicking cardio in order to get myself back inside (just alot of cursing and red hands from jiggling the door handle). I thought my pain was bad, but the whole running home thing definitely makes it worse.

Hope your legs feel better!
