Got a new PR for me today...

Got up to 140lb dumbell shoulder press for 10 clean reps today. Felt good too.

good stuff..yea, 110's are about it for me for that many...i can't imagine hoisting up those 140's off my knees! lol
 
140 for 10 reps is fuckn nuts. I did 105 last week for 10 reps and the was some heavy shit...
 
nuk, how do you get the db's in place? use spotters? or the knee up trick?

today is actually shoulder day for me... ive been getting the 110's up by myself, and plan on trying the 120's with
someone handing them to me... i aint trying to kick them beasts up solo
 
im curious to the type of bench you use, a low back or high back? I have to do shoulder press with dumbells on a high back with a slight incline my back arches so bad. I bring the bench as close to the db rack as I can and put my feet on the dumbells so I force my lower back to stay on the bench.. 140's.. sheesh.. I can row the 140's, aint sniffin em on shoulder press though
 
Update: Did 125lb dumbells for 20 reps, then the next set got the 140lbs for 10 reps.
