What is your thoughts on women bodybuilding?

I dont see it going anywhere, but I cant say Im a fan of it either, yet I respect them, because I know what they have to go through. At shows, when the womens bodybuilding is up, thats when I take a bathroom break and checkout the vendors, and chat.

I understand that guys don't seem to like female bodybuilding because it's not sexually appealing for most of them, but you guys do this shit on the daily. These ladies work their tails off for their physiques same as you all do. That's gotta get respect, as Nuk said.

I prefer a more aesthetic physique on the ladies... I don't care for the blocky look or the biggest muscles on the planet. If I could be 110lbs ripped up, I'd do bodybuilding in a hot minute! Maybe in like 20 yrs, that will be me.

I'm too tired to do it now, but I'll find some pix of ladies whose physiques I admire and post them up to show what I mean.

Mad respect for the ladies! :)

I think it’s absolutely repulsive – sacrificing one’s feminity for the sake of building a male-like physique? Yea, no thanks. Most leave for the restroom when the side shows hit the stage. Womens bbing will never, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever be popular. It willl and always will be a 'special interest' among a 'special interest' sport.

No respect for them or the "hard work" they put in - it's all a sickness

I agree but maybe in not such a harsh manner bro lol...

I prefer bikini and figure. Much more than that, they are just little men. Very few female bb ers actually look good. There used to be more good looking women, but that was back in the days of Sue Price.

I like it. They put in the hard work just like us men do. I have a lot of respect for them to put their bodies through that just like the men do. Its a lot of work and they are proud to show it off just the same as us. My wife wants to look like that I told her that wasn't necessary but she has the drive and determination to stick with it.

Agreed, a woman shouldnt look like a man. Bikini and fitness, now thats the shit.

I respect the hard work and dedication, but its repulsive. Its been decades since any of them were even moderately attractive. I know its not all about attractiveness, but you hear regular guys refer to Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Arnold, Lou Ferrigno etc.... I've never heard mention of a female bodybuilder... ever.

Good point. I think they probably amplify the negative perception surrounding the sport. If they got rid of them, I'd wonder how much more respectable the image would appear to the general pop. I think it would be a step in the right direction.

I think the NPC/IFBB has tried to move the tide to the softer more feminine side- it lasts for a small while, then its back to the not so soft feminine side. I respect the work these women have done-but I was at a show some weeks back and saw this hot girl in tight dress and heels- when she turned around, her face was blockier than mine. Scary stuff.

The worst is how the tan attaches to the course facial hair the day of the show. If you see any of them at the night show up close they look like a sloppy cross dresser. Of course not all women like what we look like, so to each their own.
