i wonder if this have something to do with arching of the back while benching.....i know that if i want to crack my back i can arch over a chair and raise my head to crack it......possibly something internal that signals your body to raise your head to straighten you back somewhat with all that extra stress on it from arching and benching?.....do we have any chiropractors or specialists on here that could chime in on this?
I always have done this also. If my head is against the bench I feel like I push back with it. Always scared I am going to pinch something in my neck if I do.
