So do you guys openly tell people the real truth about PED's?

What I mean is during conversation, do you guys try to inform the uninformed that used properly, steroids have little risks? Or do you just not say anything. A long time ago one of the guys at the gym was always casing on steroids. But as we became closer, turned out he was a huge AAS user. I asked him why he rags on steroids and his answer was something like "because the more people that think steroids are automatic killers, the less they will use them and the better I will look"

I myself used to stick up for steroids, trying to tell people the real truth, now I just back off and let them think that by touching a vial will give you a death sentence. How bout you guys??

i have had guys and some girls ask me about AAS. i tell them the truth. about sides, benefits ect...i tell them, its up to them and how far they want to take it. i also before anything, tell them about training and deiting, cause it doesnt matter what you put into your body. you dont hit the Diet and training, your spinning your wheels. and thats the truth......

I don't think that's smart IMO. All that does is give movement to the ones who will take AAS away from the rest of us. The more educated people are about their use, the more chance we have of getting them legalized.

As much as I agree w/you, I doubt getting them legalized will happen at least in my lifetime.

If I hear one more Lyle Alzado death story I'm gonna heave.

People think you are nuts if you try and tell them the truth

Or a story about Taylor Hooten. That kid's dad has a vendetta against the wrong thing. The kid was on anti-depressants which all now have been shown to cause suicidal thoughts in teens, but no, he has to blame steroids as if they were completely different than the very hormones that the kid's own body made.

If someone is genuinely interested in learning I will discuss it with them, but for people who already have their minds made up and just want an argument I don't waste my time.

I help those close to me that are advanced enough and have acquired adequate knowledge on their own and ask for my assistance. Other than that, my time is mine and no one needs to know my business. Their are guys that know I'm on although I've never said anything to confirm or deny it that think if they took "a cycle" they would be way bigger than me. These same guys bench 135lbs "for reps".

dont tell anyone, its none of their business, just like how much money you make or how much you have saved yada yada, its none of anyones business

Yes...."Steroids are as American as apple pie". I always stress "knowledge is power" first. I spent two solid years studying and reviewing anabolics alone before i purchased my first drop.....I always talk diets, nutrition, rest and proper lifting techniques above all things. If they are genuinely interested in AAS then I will "honestly" cover any question that they have. Yes, I am that "probably" annoying guy that wants to talk weight lifting "ALL" the time!

Ya I remember this guy. He was just looking for something to blame his sons weekness on, but no I talk to no one out side of here

It's just funny to me how anytime someone is known to have used steroids and they either commit murder or suicide, that's immediately the culprit, no matter what, hands down that's the first thing that did it. Like saudades said, it doesn't matter what the person's own body has produced that could've possibly caused the problem in the first place

How stereotypical is that? Like anytime a musician dies, its gotta be overdose of a drug. With athletes is always those evil steroids.

We now have a case here that has been in court from 5 years ago of a man that shot his wife in a church parking lot. He's now blaming it all on a mix of prescription drugs and steroids, and the doctor/nurses that prescribed them to him should be at fault—at least that is what the local news station said. What a crock!

I'm thinking the term "roid rage" was coined by a Texas attorney who tried saying the steroids made his client, a cop, shoot someone off duty. Shows you that term isn't scientific at all merely lawyerspeak

This is why steroids will always have a bad name.. Because of guys like these.. It is never the person fault it is always the drugs.. the steroids didn't make him pull the trigger.. The pussy pulled the the trigger.. People like this make me sick....

The sad thing is that it's such a misconception that people will buy into it. You can fly off the deep end and just blame it on steroids and then people feel bad because it's a side effect of the drug instead of thinking you're a piece of shit because you flew off
