Getting my shot tomorrow

Well, I'm getting a cortison shot in my elbow tomorrow. I've never had a cortison shot before so I'm a little nervous. I know these shots hurt like a bitch so this is gna be fun. wish me luck my friends

Hope all goes well man! I've had a few in my ankles back in college. You're right they aren't pleasant but think of it as a high rep set on the leg press, the pain will eventually go away! hope my deep thoughts helped!

I've had cocktails with them shot into my back and around my vertabra. Sometimes they hurt a bit, but later on they feel great. That could just be me though. They never helped Silk. Also I'm not doing anymore since I don't want the risk of weakening or making tissues more injury prone.

I just had another shot last Friday and it barely helped. But I wouldnt know about the shot hurting as they put me under for the epidurals

They do hurt, but nowhere nearly as bad as a shot of antibiotics in the hip. I wouldn't sweat it to much man

I had that done once and it was horrible. I thought something was going horribly wrong like they hit a nerve or something.

Shot really wasn't all that bad at all. The only part that hurt was when he started to push the cotison and the numbing shit in. Feels alot better, but it is sore from the injection. Got legs tomorrow and then sholuders and arms this weekend. So we will see how it goes.

It's hard not to do, but try not to over do it with the elbow. You'll feel perfect, but once the cortisone wears off, you'll hurt worse if you over did it
