Restless Leg Syndrome

I've never felt this before last night. Tonight it is terrible. I'm so tired but my lower legs keep getting this weird "kicked in the funny bone" feeling so every minute or so I have to flex them to get it to go away. Now it's almost 3am and I don't know when I'll be able to fall asleep. This shit is horrible. I wonder if it has anything to do with me stoppingt the ambien two weeks ago.

Thats the thing about sleeping pills, stop then and you cant sleep. When I took ambien I would find myself downstairs just standing in my kitchen unknowning how I got there. I bet they are playing a part in the leg movement. Thing is i sleep better without them now.

Wy grandmother has it terrible. There are meds for restless leg syndrome. You stopped the ambien two weeks ago, it seems like you would have had trouble within the first week, not two weeks out.

it's unlikely that stopping the ambien caused you to get restless legs, but stopping it may have made u notice it. ppl usually get it when they settle down for the night and get still - if you were taking ambien to help you sleep it's likely that your body never registered that uncomfortable feeling in your legs because the ambien was causing some retrograde amnesia just before you went to sleep. Like trip said there are meds for restless legs but lots of different ones because we don't know exactly what causes the problem.

u got pm bro

Ive had it since I was a kid. What I've noticed its worse when I am dehydrated and really tired. Its so bad it the middle of the night the wife has to massage my legs. Ive gotten up in the middle of the night and used my foam roller. Its really annoying...

I've known a few people to go through this and they are completely miserable because of it. They drag ass all day and will go 2 days without much sleep at all, but I've never personally went through it luckily. I feel bad for you, it seems like you face one obstacle after another

Oh man Dude.. That's sucks.. Theres a vitamin I think it's magnesium that helps with it.. If you just have it now it's probably ambien related .. Ambien made me wide awake and see people in the room
that weren't there.. Scary shit..

I took some magnesium and I'm going to see if Silk will massage my legs. I can't get into the Dr until next Monday.
It's does seem like one thing after another, but in the grand scheme of things I'm very fortunate. I'll take a bunch of little obstacles over a big one ANYDAY

Ok I called a friend in pre-med and asked him
about RLS. he said it can be low levels of dopamine in body, slight possibilty of pre diabetes and other things that I don't want to say.. He suggested going to your Dr like you are doing , supplement with mag, folic acid, and also L- tyrosine is good cause it can boost l-dopa levels.... You are rite ..no big one..im sure silk will take good care a you as usual.. Hope you feel better brutha.
