Here is some picutures I found on a different site I use to post on. I dont think these are on here at MC. But, I wanted to post them here. This was from the 2006 Midwest Ironman show in Chicago. It is one of the toughest shows in the midwest. If you win this show, you normally are ready to enter the next level up, which would be Jr.Nationals or Jr.USA. I won the heavyweight division that year, but lost the overall by a point to Eric Seng. The whole overall line up went on to do national level show(s) and everyone in that lineup has made top 10 and a couple even did top 5 at Jr.Nationals. So it was a strong line up. Even the guys I beat in the heavyweight division have gone on to do very well on the national level.
I weighed in at that show, at 220lbs, I just came off a win at the Continnetal USA show 9 weeks earlier. It was a long, long diet, but each week, I got leaner, and tighter. I was a tad flat for this show, and if I wouldve been fuller, I think I wouldve beat Eric Seng, but its in the past now.
What a show, it was exciting and very competive. I remember it like it was yesterday. Good times !!!!
