I've been on hrt for a year , well maybe year and a half. Anyway thinking about coming off for a month to give my receptors a break , it's a mix prop and cyp test 100 prop and 200 cyp x 2 week total 500mgs wk, do you think it would be a good idea to take a month off and then start back up?

I don't buy into that personally. I remember reading years ago that as receptors are occupied (AAS) new receptors are formed. It makes sense to me. The guys that are on AAS continuously are bigger than the guys that take breaks all things being equal

imo your "hrt" is a long long cycle, hrt is normally like 150mg every 10 days, i myself always like to take time off but you could just take it down to normal hrt doses of like 100mg every 10 days but i am not sure about the whole receptor theories people have

100mgs a 10days?! Holy hell thats the norm !? By who?' Well everyone is different , I know my buddy has his doctor giving him his hrt and that's what he is getting but his doctor has no clue what she is doing .... Doesn't check anything just does a testosterone level check once a year...... He's fat as hell , estrogen is high! He is always complaining about it, but I like your idea , might give it a shot.

yea its normally that or the highest I have heard of is 200mg every 10 days, but never heard of doc prescribed 500mg (would be awesome in a sense)

I was up to 1g a week at my previous Dr. Alot of the guys were getting 400 - 500mg a week. Just depends on your Dr's philosophy. My Dr would put everyone at the absolutely highest point in the acceptable range

So your old doc thought 1g of test a week could be run and maintain perfect health?

Nope. It was 4 years of bloodwork doing the talking. He is also a bodybuilder and is very educated about sides. I regularly have bloodwork, EKG's, prostate exams, etc. as long as my numbers come in where they should, he kept me on the dose I had been on.
Lots of people unconsciously buy into the hype that certain things are bad for you despite facts staring them in the face.
I know a guy that nearly died the first time he ate an oyster. If we go off his experience then oysters are fatal.
Personally I've probably eaten thousands and I have no such adverse reactions.
Which fact is more pertinent to me?
