Preworkout problems...

Have you all ever had any side effects from preworkouts? I've had a couple friends that have developed stomach problems from over taking them and one had a panic attack. I've had to sit down for a few because my heart was racing so fast, but nothing major.

i only have trouble sleeping but i think i handle my preworkouts good cycle off and use different supplements. i have heard of people freaking out there first time using them. a guy last week told me he tried a sample pack of something new and it was for 2 servings and he took the whole thing it made him sick

I haven't had a problem with them either. I love uppers so they are right up my alley. I just don't care for the niacin

Haha niacin... generally though theres only 20-30mg of niacin in a preworkout... (which is about 1/20 of a typical dose). If you mean the intense tingle feeling that is beta alanine... and I love that tingle... it alone gets me pumped!

The tingle pisses me off lol. I figured it was niacin since I've taken the flushkind and been red and had the tingle for what seemed like forever

I like the beta alinine stuff too. My new one doesn't have it and I miss it. I'm not crazy about it. It makes me focus and sone out like a crackhead

Beta Alanine is amazing stuff if you can get past the tingles big. It reduces the hydrogen build up in your muscles during intense workouts... the hydrogen build up actually throws of your muscular PH balance (Lowers it I believe). It is the this build up of hydrogen that essentially causes fatigue. It's actually this PH imbalance that will allow for the greater lactic acid build up and this in turn increases the hydrogen ion concentration and skews the PH balance even moreso. (see this going round and round?) In short Beta-alanine regulates the build up of these hydrogen ions which increases endurance and muscular energy... also helps decrease recovery time because of the "normal" PH balance and reduces the effects of the lactic acid build up...

At first stuff like jacked made me feel horrible...sweats, mental confusion, and almost dizzy. The feeling wore off after a while. I stopped taking it when I took time off from the gym. Haven't felt the need to start using it again.

It seems like almost every preworkout now has beta in it so I've just gotten used to it. It isn't that bad when you know to expect it, but when I try samples and don't check prior to taking it, it always pisses me off when I get that burn and don't expect it

There's a new Beta Alanine free one out called 4D pump that I have been getting good feedback on if you find yourself looking for one thats tingle free

Hell I made the mistake of taking an eca stack and then drinking a hyde preworkout drink, I thought I was going to have a heart attack.
