hey everybody its been awhile! hope all is well with all. I got my blood panel back today. Last time my test levels were 1500, and estrodial of 126. i was on 200mg test cyp per week and 10mg tamoxifen a day. they moved me to 140mg test cyp per week and 20mg tamoxifen per day. after 2 months i got my panel checked again. today it was 1050 for testosterone and 121 estrodial. im worried about this estrodial. originally before i got on TRT(5months ago) my estrodial was 76, so high to start with. Before i see my Dr. any suggestions on how to lower this estrogen with out lower dose of test? thanks

Look at an AI, your taking Nolvadex which does nothing to stop Estrogen production,it only blocks it from your breast tissue, AI's like anastrozole Arimidex, Femera Letrozole, all stop the production of Estrogen. You may want to discuss it with your MD, to see what's right for your needs.

tks everybody. i will def talk to my Dr. bout the meds you mentioned. Iron, yes i ride bikes. my goals are just to have levels around 1100 or 1200 all the time, not really trying to build that much new muscle, we try to stay pretty lean. im 5'11 178. i originally got tested because my energy was always depleted. since getting on trt my energy is way better and mood is better. I sometimes wonder if the high estrogen isnt letting me have the full benefits of the testosterone. I would love for him to bump me back up a bit on my dose, especially if we can get this estrogen under control.

correct! good info brutha! And your levels will come back high because you have free floating estrogen even though ur taking Nolvadex, the nolvadex only competes with the receptor site, where as the other anti-estrogens actually stop the conversion of Testosterone to estrogen, which is what you want, Tamox aka nolvadex is generally best when you already have signs of gyno, puffy, itchy nips, bloating ect.... hope i explained that well, but MonkeyWrench nailed it

i would think about 150mg test a week and an AI would keep you around those levels

go get discount rx card, its like 20.00 walgreens well worth it. I wouldn't lower your hrt dose. just get control of your estro

I don't get any sides from arimidex.
the dr gave me arimidex. 1mg every third day. i went to walgreens and they said it would be $536 for 30 pills or 206 for generic. i bout fell over. so i left and called around to get other prices, all were pretty same. then i remembered what freakinthegym said about the rx card. so i called wallgreens and they said if i got the $20 card then the pills would be only $15 total lol. so i jumped all over that. so thanks freak, u just saved me 190 bucks every three months!!
that just dosent make sense. lol the way they charge for meds here is crazy.
