tricep deformity?!?!?

So I mentioned a month or so ago I hit a nerve in my tricep during an injection. It swelled for day put people like the dude put my concerns at rest. But now they're back! Swelling is gone. But now when I flex it and run my fingers across it I can feel a big indent in my tricep! Right about where the short head meets up near the medial but a bit lower. It was not like this prior and now I'm extremely petrified that I have a destroyed tricep! Anyone ever had anything like this to put a brother at ease!

I would say it's related to the nerve bro. I believe some others have had similar issues in the quads. Most stories I have read is the form does come back most times but takes a while. Bump for some more answers for ya. Take a week off on tris and let it rest.

Yea I've been noticing today that the more I move it around and flex it in different angles it kind of Goes away. Seems like the only time the indent is there is when I flex with the arm all the way down like a side tricep pose.

yes that would be me! I hit a nerve in my quad many years ago injecting gear, and my left outer quad was flaccid when i would flex my legs, it simply stopped flexing, the muscle wasn't firing up die to nerve damage, all the doctors said it was permanent and the muscle would likely never flex again, and I found a guy on another site with the same xact issue who told me about this new product called IGF-1 Lr3 and said it helped him, so i tried it for the first time and applied it right into the dead muscle, and it slowly started to flex again! Although atrophy had already set in as it was dead for almost a year, so when it did start to fire again it was quite small, however within months it came back to full size with continued IGF applications to the injured area!

So minima bro, you might have hit a nerve which is preventing the muscle from flexing, however its really hard to say without seeing it, but you would know if this is the issue, just flex it and if it isn't firing up then you nicked a nerve bad like i did,

How permanent are the effects of IGF-Lr3?

I have had nerve damage, and some muscle atrophy, to my left tricept and the muscle that is on the top of the forearm (I forget the name of that muscle now) since 1995. The root of the cause is a pinched nerve in the neck, but I opted not to have the surgery.

Permanent is permanent lol. I don't think there's degrees of permanent brutha! Now that I'm done being a wise ass, lol I will say the effects of igf-1 lr3 are as permanent as permanent is lol

i had an infection years ago in my tricep and its changed my right arm for good used to be really defined an seperated now it's kinda just a lump of tricep muscles.

What guage and length of needle were you using if you dont mind my asking brother?

yeah thats a small needle, so is it getting any better at all brutha

Ive had little things like that. Give the area a little rest and put a little more emphasis on getting it to flex when you train it. It may take a few weeks, but as long as you are doing IGF you've got nothing to worry about. I had any issue with my vastus medialis after repeatedly injecting it. It was numb and wasn't flexing all the way causing some instability when doing legs. I laid off injecting that area and did IGF higher in the quad and in a few weeks it was better than new. Give the area a break and stay on the IGF, but maybe stick with Delts and Biceps so you still get it close to the area.
Im sure years ago this would be a big deal, but with the products we have at our disposal now, its just a minor inconvienance

I know how that goes! I lost 40% of the nerves in my right arm. My whole right side started turning to goo... I had the surgery, but now I cant turn my head which makes driving very difficult and Im on Pain Management for the rest of my life... Mine was due to a car accident though so I had some pretty good damage to my spinal cord though

Not all that better as an update. Kind of just trying to wait it out realizing it'll just take time. It's weird because if I'm doing a normal pose like back double or even just flexing my arm it's hard but once I lock it out at the bottom it caves in. Been trying to focus on it and doing tons of isolation to focus on it. Just gotta keep going I suppose! I'm assuming I just totally shot the nerve and hopefully it'll come back to firing off. Thanks for the support I'll keep on with updates
