In the latest issue of Muscular Development Magazine(March,2015), there is an article in William Llewellyn's column(pg.179) about a study published in the Journal of Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology. It was done by Chinese scientists on rats. The rats were given Trenbolone and they studied its effect on the rat brains. They found that it causes neuro degeneration. There was early death of hippocampel neurons. The death was notably accelerated in the presence of Trenbolone. They said this was a serious risk factor for dementia and alzheimers.
Llewellyn commented that since the study was done on rats, there is a need for a study done on humans to corroborate this study.
The problem is who would want to volunteer for a study that might damage your brain?
