50 lb bag of Whey for $170...

Sams has 5 lbs for $35, or $7 pound, this is $3.40 per pound, less than half. i bought 50lbs from a cheese factory many yrs ago, it was good tasting but have me bad gas. I could clear a room in seconds flat

I agree the price is fantastic, I used to buy 25 pounds at once from true protein, would come in a big plastic bag. I just don't know about the quality, I mean I guess if your getting X amount of protein from that source its going to be that, so long as your getting the amount of protein you need from other foods too

I actually need to get me some protein, I don't do dairy anymore so i'll go with a pea protein probably. I have been eating only whole foods for about 4 months and it has really made a difference, but replacing 2 shakes with two full meals is more pricey in a way.

Depends on the food I suppose. For the nutrient and macro profile at least. Chicken rice and olive oil can't be beat! Lol dollars on the serving

So to flavor 50LBS would need about 14 packs, based on average to flavor prrotein, adding $70 more to costs, now at $4.80 per pound. Maybe more if one wants more flavor. Hmmmmm

Haha yeah I didn't look at the pricing details, I just used to buy mine bland and choke it down.

Hey brotha, I use meat protein. I used to use whey and casein and all that. I gained so much more lean mass on meat protein, some of it doesn't taste great but its way better than pea protein. Give it a try

Unflavored protein is to add to meals like oatmeal and such. Would be rough choking it down. But u can add it to just about anything.

Hell yeah bro where do you buy it? not coming up with any great looking sites just googling it. I don't care all that much about taste, it would only be used as something to supplement in some extra protein on my busy days etc. so no worries there.

its not everyday you hear someone say they don't care how their protein tastes lol, i need mine to be tasty if I'm going to be chugging a lot daily. and even then no matter how good it tastes at first it always starts tasting like shit

Yeah not a big deal to me, all my foods are made fresh daily and normally right then, so since I will only be having maybe a shake a day probably at most its no big deal for me. I had to give up all good things anyways breads, cake, cookies, anything with Gluten, which would include a hell of a lot more things then you would think. Even store bought beans, rice etc. cause give me issues if they were packaged on the same conveyors as barley, flour etc. I save my really big cheat meals for Saturdays. I was thinking of trying some pea protein from true nutrition with some of their premium flavors to see what kind of taste it would actually have. It was rare that I found a protein that I actually enjoyed drinking anyways except for muscle milk, and gainer shakes.

yeah muscle milks are tasty but for some reason they make my stomach hurt after i drink them,

yeah I heard a lot of people having that issue with muscle milk, never bothered my stomach that much. I think im going to try the true nutrition blends, I'm gonna get a pound with a 50/50 mix of rice, and pea protein with true flavor of vanilla cake batter. ha sounds awesome, and I will only need 1 a day at most so a pound will last me half a month only 9 bucks pretty cheap. think ill pull the trigger on that in a few days so I can check itout.

Did u just say muscle milk is tasty?!?!?! I am disappointed lol. I can't stand that stuff. Has an awful taste.

What is your favorite brand if you don't mind me asking bro, for taste that is? I thought muscle milk was pretty good, but did have a strange aftertaste. I used to drink ON Whey gold standard, but I hated the flavor of that as well, just kinda like flavored chalk to me.

Trutein is my favorite by far. And for pre made I like pure protein. Tastes good and and no aftertaste. ON is good too.

Hey bro, I only use SES Nutrition Prime Protein. You can but it at the local nutrition store and I get mine from an online store.
Carnivore is the one I use on the Off-season (winter). Its not bad honestly, I don't use whey because it produces gas and fat in me, no way around it.
The prime doesn't and I get solid protein and no fillers at all. Its good stuff
