dealing with test flu

What does everyone do to prevent it or deal with it. Seems like whenever I up my test the next day or sometimes even for 2 days I get the body aches like the flu. Joints hurt and such. No fever or anything.

Helpful hints appreciated it. I've had to up things to prep for a meet and I woke up today aching a little.

I used to never get it and frankly I think it's the stuff. Because I used to get it from this one guy and I could do whatever no problem. It's just that he is all kinds of expensive. Like almost double. It's a tough decision

I read that large amounts of Vitamin C helps - though no idea if it actually does.

Yeah I've found that as well as other immune system boating things like magnesium and zinc. Problem with those (except C) is they can interfere with my synthyroid. I got mine killed a few years due to a very hyperactive thyroid.

Test flu is microbial bacteria in the body. Your body reacts to foreign substances than can be potentially harmful by elevating the T-cells to fight off infection or microbes that could cause infection. Example-I have never heard of any getting test flu from a well known company but they get it from another. the first company is sterile and double filters and has the expenses to make a clean environment, the second company lets say in a UGL who filters once and does it in their apartment with dust particles etc..

If im not making my point clear, its your gear..not the so called test flu. That comes on at over 800mg when the body elevates the temp to the mass amount of foreign substances.

Ask your Dr or anyone in the ER, Nurse etc will tell you the same thing.

I figured that was the root cause. I was just trying to manage it. Can I bake it in the over and maybe kill it

great info Powderguy and echo, i would try baking out the bullshit , well truthfully i would probably toss the shit but if thats not an option for you then i would try baking it out

baking kills bacteria (well most and BA keeps it from growing) In all honesty, I would re-filter it into a clean sterile vial that has been auto-claved.

It is not a normal condition. Why don't you visit a doctor ?

I experienced this once with old school QV, its what you call normal with this type of gear..
I agree though if it persists and causes greater issues go see a Dr.

It must have been something else because I've used the same stuff twice since then and everything has been fine. Not sure what to think about that.
