This is aimed toward the older guys here. In regards to cycling and the bodybuilding lifestyle in general....if you could travel back in time and start from scratch, what would you do differently?

-Would you wait longer to start using AAS?
-Would you have used more AAS? Less?
-Would you have taken better care of your health?
-Would you have trained differently?
-Would you have been more serious about your diet?
-Would you have put more time in?
-Would you have taken it less seriously and enjoyed your life more?

Just some examples. Please share your thoughts. Being a young guy in this game, I like to learn from the veterans who have done it all. Hopefully some other young guys can use some of the advice as well :)

Everything in moderation............I would have trained harder/heavier on deadlifts and squats knowing that my back wouldn't take either after 35. Put in the pain when you are young and you will reap the rewards when you are older.................the whole sowing and reaping thing.

Cut back ( not cut out completely) on the alcohol consumption. Did I have a blast gettting blitzed, yep, could I have done the same without excess alcohol, yep. I would still have drank just not in excess. You really don't realize how much of a toxic substance alcohol is until you cut it out completely for a month or two.

I would do everything the same, i started at the proper age, i never really abused steroids, but i would have learned about tren and what it converts to and such before using it, but other then that i can't really think of anything i would do differently!

Good topic bro...

-Would you wait longer to start using AAS?
100% yes! I would have used everything I know now about nutrition/training now and waited until my body reached its limit before starting AAS !

-Would you have used more AAS? Less?
LESS! Much less if I spent more time learning nutrition

-Would you have taken better care of your health?
yes and it goes back to understanding nutrition vs taking more AAS.

-Would you have trained differently?
No because I still train the same way now. Only thing different is I follow a proper meal plan and take less AAS.

-Would you have been more serious about your diet?
yes because nutrition is 80% of everything.

-Would you have put more time in?
More time in meaning what?

-Would you have taken it less seriously and enjoyed your life more?
I enjoyed the hell out of my life back then.... Are the trophies in my living room worth the sacrifice now? NO
