Anyone know best way to muffel deadlift noise?

Not for me as I dont mind it (the constant banging of plates on rubber floor) but I have a hunch a few of the soft cores in my gym are right on the verge of commenting on it. I have no bumper plates. And I dont want to piss off my bread and butter folks by saying "thats the sound of a gym" truth as it may be

I have several softer 2 ft square puzzled squares I could see if that would reduce the noise a bit. Personally when I dead, I let bar down easy to work the back even more, but some of my Powerlifters not so. And I will never resort to PF tactics LOL

So any suggestions would be welcome!
