First conversion--EQ and Test E; help/comments sought

Hey guys, I've been reading the board for the last week or two and feel I'm ready to start converting the powders I have. Here's my plan

Equipoise
Powder required: =24grams or 20.4mL
Oil req'd: =42mL
BA%/BAmL req'd: 2%=1.6mL
BB%/BBmL req'd: 20%=16mL
Calculations: (20.4+42+1.6+16)mL=80mL; 24,000mg/80mL=300mg per mL
total Yield: 80mL at 300mg/mL

Test Enanthate
Powder req'd: =24g or 18mL
Oil req'd: =44.4mL
BA%/mL req'd: 2%=1.6mL
BB%/mL req'd: 20%=16mL
Calculations: (18+44.4+1.6+16)mL=80mL. 24,000mg/80mL=300mg/mL
Total Yield: 80mL @ 300mg/mL

I have the homebrewing/filtering steps down to a 'T' using the instructions in the stickies.

Any comments or suggestions on the above? I chose 2% BA and 20% BB b/c I want less painful injections and I've been told 2% BA is plenty for sterilization. And the 20% BB, according to guys I've spoken with, will help thin the solution as well as preventing the test enanthate and eq from crashing and prolong the life of the gear. This is my first real homebrewing experiment. I want to make a small batch for the first go around just in case something goes wrong.

I purchased the following for this "experiment"
1. 250mL Bromex beaker (for mixing the oil, solvents, and powder)
2. Six 60cc syringes LL (for drawing up solutions and filtering)
3. Three whatman 25mm .20µm filters (for filtering, one extra just in case)
4. A dozen 18g needles (again, for filtering the final solution)
5. One vial of 100mL USP sterile filtered Grapeseed oil
6. 25mL of Benzyl Alcohol
7. 50mL of Benzyl Benzoate
8. Six 30mL amber vials (for final storage)

I already have a very good scale, 23g needles to vent the vials while filtering, and the EQ/Test E powders.

Is there anything else I'll need? Anyone see any problems with the recipes I have? Comments, suggestions, concerns, questions, etc. are welcome.
Thanks.

yeah bro that will work, i would do it slighlty different probaby but thats ust me, who ever gave you this innfo lead you in the right direction, let meknow if you run into and stumbling blocks. oh yeah, and have filtering htat all by hand, your forarms are gonna hate you, lol.

I actually did all the research myself. What would you personally change? Different amounts/% of solvents BA and BB? Different concentrations? I'd welcome anything you have to share. I'm always open to constructive criticism and comments!

I plan on using a small caulking gun when filtering--I'm going to put the 60cc syringes in the little guns and be careful not to blow out the filters by slowly pumping the gun. This will save my thumbs

My research supplies finally shipped. Looks like the above experiment will be done this weekend. My Test E powder (from a VERY legit guy) is a beautiful fine, white, somewhat sticky substance and the Equipoise feels and looks exactly like honey. Can't wait!

Props to researchlabsupplies for awesome cust service/shipping times!

yeah his TA is great. I would only do the solvents different, especially the bb, I'd go lower, but your right if your gonna store it for any lenght of time then 20 is the way to go. Just make sure you add the powder and the solvent first, you can use heat to help speed it up or a sitr plate/bar if you have access to those, hell I know some who sterilize a marble or Stainless steel ball bearing and use it to swirl. Then when the soltiopn is clear, no chunks add your oil and continue to stir and heat, should work fine for you, good luck

Just got done w/ the EQ last night took about an hour from start to finish. Yield was ~80mL at (what should be) 300mg/mL. One thing I'll change for future conversions is the use of a 30mL or 20mL syringe for filtering. The 60mL syringes are goddamn near impossible to draw anything up with OR disperse/filter through. The caulking gun damn near had the plunger bending in half just to put enough pressure on the syringe to run the final product through the filter. End solutions are still light golden/totally clear. I'm pretty happy with it.

glad it went semi well. You might want to look on e-bay or search the web at some second hand lab sites and pick up a vac filter, the work real weell, flip the switch stand back and it does the work. Also some reseach sites have a hand powereed on that you squeeze the buld to but on the pressure, think they are like 150 new, but the electric ones are nicer and will be about the same used. Later

THanks, actually the only difficult part was the filtering through a 60cc syringe, but other than that it was smooth as silk, so I'd say it went really well. If I had a crimper then I'd definately use vaccum filters w/ hand pump, but I don't have a crimper and i'm never gonna brew other than for personal use. I suppose I could always invest in the crimper/vials/stoppers/tops and vacuum filter anyway.

I was told its a helluva lot easier using a 30cc syring than a 60, about 5 less pressure is required. So I went ahead and ordered a dozen and some more oil and whatmans, I'll be converting the rest of my powder when they get here. Then its back to figuring out what I want to make next and buying those powders, LOL. I think I'm addicted:) No more source paranoia/shopping for this guy.
