Hi guys!

i am going to start soon my first brew and as i know i have to sterilize my beaker glass before mix the powder + BB and BA, but how can i do that? With what products?
And one time i finish my brew i have to clean it, ok, after clean it, should i sterilize again or better do it just before the next batch?

Thanks

Just clean beaker with hot soapy water. It'll be open to contamination from the air. You sterilize the final product but running it through a sterile filter into sterile vials

You can sterilize it with hot hot water and or the oven. Cover with alum foil so not particles settle in it just before use. If you use soap make sure you get all of it out as you add the BA and or BB it will pull any soap residue and put that in your experiment

Depends on how sterile you need it. From my homebrewing days bleach and water will kill everything. Hot, hot ( almost boiling) kills the beach.

Homebrewing stores have other chemicals that sterilize glass.

something normal, i am gonna use it to mix the raws with the bb, ba an oil to filter it later by the bottle top filter

is the same process valid also to sterilize the flask glass or receiver glass in a bottle top filter system?

Wash lab glass with hot soap water, rinse off and or boil off soap. Soak in cheap 91 rubbing alcohol for 30 sec and drain. Cover loose with clean alum foil. Place in oven at 330d f for 2 hrs for dry heat sterilization. You won't get any better than this with household resources....
