I always hate this time of year, luckily I have a flexible schedule so I don't have to go at 5pm.
I used to always take the first week off every January because I couldn't handle the stupidity that came the first week.
Miserable not getting to the equipment we need

And in all honesty, in my experience, the bigger more jacked, higher level guys are smart as a mother fucker, its usually the wannabes who act like duesch bags and say shit like this , though ive said some dumb shit before lol, just to be funny and off the wall of course
was in the gym today and the posers make me laugh...............what doesn't make me laugh it when they take weight off something I was using. I usually wait until they get a drink and unload their machine and start using their weight. It is a simple solution and highly effective.....They leave my stuff alone for the next two weeks after which they quit and I don't see them again until next January.
One thing to watch out for during January gym workouts is people coming in there with a cold or the flu. As dumb as it sounds instead of resting up to get over the illness, they come in to the gym and workout. If there are 2 in there that are sick, I just immediately up and leave. It is better to miss a workout than get sick.
