Arimistane Review

Managing excess estrogen while on cycle or in your Post Cycle Therapy is pretty important. Ask me, I know, because I found out the hard way. I cried during Little Mermaid. Beautiful story, really.

Jokes aside, having high levels of estrogen is all fine and well, up and until the point where it isn’t. Some are good, more is better, and too much is awful.

Managing hormone levels is incredibly tricky, but would Armistane make that easier to do? Could it be the perfect compound to lower estrogen and raise natural testosterone levels?

Let’s find out.

Key Takeaways
 • Arimistane can be used as an AI or cycle support
 • The Arimistane estrogen blocker properties are that of a suicide inhibitor
 • The best ones on the market are from Huge Supplements and Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals
 • It does have similar side effects to other estrogen blockers and post-cycle therapy products
What is Arimistane? Arimistane or Androsta-3 5-diene-7 17-dione (say that 5 times fast) is known as an Aromatase Inhibitor. This group of drugs is known for leaving the Aromatase enzyme inactive, thereby stopping the conversion of testosterone into estrogen.

Figure 1: Chemical structure of Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione Commonly referred to as Anti Estrogen compounds, these are often used to manage estrogen levels of athletes who make use of anabolic steroids, or those who use Testosterone Replacement Therapy.

While men do need a certain amount of estrogen in their bodies, having far too much could lead to certain side effects such as gyno development, water retention, and even body composition changes.

Low estrogen on the other hand also has side effects, such as limiting muscle mass gain, libido problems, and horrible cardiovascular health.

Finding a happy medium of estrogen levels in the body is key, but also incredibly hard to do. This is why you must use the right estrogen blockers to put you in the sweet zone,

How Does Armistane Work (Aromatase Inhibitor)? How exactly does an Aromatase Inhibitor work? In the body, particularly in fat cells, there are enzymes called aromatase, an estrogen synthetase, or estrogen synthase.

Testosterone will interact with aromatase and convert it into oestradiol (estrogen). While there are detailed calculations to find out how much you may be converting, the easiest way to check is to have your blood work done.

Figure 2: While conversion of Test to Estrogen is normal, too much can create problems Normally, some testosterone will convert, and you’d be fine. However, with the introduction of more hormones, you can expect more estrogen. This is why many bodybuilders and other athletes will make use of cycle support to ensure their levels remain relatively stable and normal.

Arimistane, funnily enough, is often referred to as a prohormone, because it has a similar structure to 7-Keto-DHEA.

An interesting fact about Arimstane is the fact that it is a suicide inhibitor. This means it will not only leave the aromatase enzyme inactive but also remove it. In doing so, you limit estrogen rebound. Aromasin is another popular suicide inhibitor, and these are often used in favor of Arimidex and Letrozole for that reason.

Arimistane will also help with natural testosterone levels, as it will act as a testosterone booster by increasing LH and FSH levels in the body.

Benefits of Arimistane The biggest benefit Arimistane has is that suicide inhibition. You completely avoid the estrogen rebound, and as someone who has suffered from the rebound badly, trust me, you want to avoid it. Other benefits include:

These are the only two benefits that have been studied [1]. When looking at the use of Arimistane as one of the bodybuilding supplements, it has “more” benefits:

 • Decreases water retention
 • Gives you a harder look
 • Could help keep you from developing too low testosterone levels while on a cycle
 • Could aid in liver health
It is important to know that the doses and protocols we follow as bodybuilders have hardly ever been tested in studies. This is why these benefits will really depend on how the compound is used, and in conjunction with other drugs.

Is Arimistane Legal? Arimistane is a banned substance by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) and cannot be used in competitions where you are going to be tested. Due to the physiological you gain, it would make it severely unfair against your peers.

Looking at whether you can purchase it legally, there are plenty of companies that sell an “Arimistane Estrogen Blocker”. The most popular would be the Huge Nutrition Rebirth PCT.

image-42.png
Figure 3: The best OTC Arimistane product is the REbirth PCT from Huge Supplements Who Should Use Arimistane? There are essentially two types of people who will be using this to control Estrogen levels. You have those people who are using Steroids and “other medications”, and you have the folk making use of TRT.

The people on TRT are probably going to get an Estrogen blocker from their doctor anyways.

If you are using Steroids or exogenous hormones, you might be in need of an estrogen blocker. When estrogen gets too high (or too low) then your muscle gains, body composition, emotional health, and even prostate health will all suffer.

How to Use Arimistane? Ideally, you will always be making use of a company to make sure your blood markers are in check. This means having checkups throughout the year to make sure you’re healthy.

If you find you have certain hormones, such as estrogen or prolactin that are significantly higher than they ought to be, you need to address them. Failing to do so could lead to some pretty bad medical conditions.

You would use Arimistane to control estrogen levels. Depending on the situation, you might need more or less. In order to avoid reproductive harm or similar symptoms, you would ideally start with a smaller dose and only increase when needed.

Arimistane PCT Dosage A post-cycle treatment will differ massively from one person to the next, and finding that “perfect” amount of hormones would require more and more detailed calculations.

It is not uncommon to see people start off with a larger dose of Arimistane for one week, and then begin to taper off for another three weeks.

For example:

Weeks 0 – 1: 75mg per day

Weeks 2 – 3: 50mg per day

Weeks 3 – 4: 25mg per day

Keep in mind that the more intense your cycle was (duration and dose) the more of a boost you will need afterward. The anti estrogen and testosterone boosters needed are stronger for a heavier cycle – logically.

Arimistane Dosage on Cycle It is not uncommon to hear guys wanting to take something while on a cycle to avoid complete Testosterone shutdown. Sometimes called “LH Support”, as keeping LH levels high will keep endogenous testosterone levels high.

With a TRT clinic, this will often be done through the usage of Clomiphene or Clomid. These SERMs (selective estrogen receptor modulators) will bind to estrogen receptors and “trick” the brain into producing more LH and FSH.

Figure 4: A study on Arimistane found that a 600mg dosage was effective at increasing LH Levels Arimistane can help the body produce LH [2], but it is not known if it could do this while running a prohormone cycle or a Steroid cycle.

That said, many will use Arimistane as cycle support at 100 – 200mg per day, depending on a myriad of factors. This will not affect the maximum muscle growth of the cycle at all, but it might help you keep more lean muscle mass after the cycle.

Arimistane with SERMs There would not be a need for Arimistane and a SERM, on cycle or during PCT. They do similar things. However, Arimistane would make you look “drier” whereas a SERM only blocks estrogen in the breast tissue. It is thus important to choose the correct one for your situation.

Arimistane Reviews “I’ve used pct v by blackstone as a standalone which has armistane in, didn’t dry my joints made my workouts quite a bit more enjoyable tbh, lost a bit of water weight stomach looked alot flatter. I get regular blood work done, everything is always in range.”

Ok_Hour_3339
To be honest it’s not worth it. It’s not going to do enough for you. You will do it and be like well I did that. Plus taking an ai is terrible for cholesterol, bone density, libido, mental well-being among other things. It’s a waste of time and money.

A_Piker
I haven’t used this brand, but have used Olympus Labs Elim1nate (the original formula that was just arimistane, not the newer formula that is basically a multivitamin).

Anyhow, I have confirmed with bloodwork that Arimistane will put the smack down on your estrogen. Getting good Arimistane will be the trick.

Cylon357
It’s becoming obvious that most people find it to be pretty effective as cycle support.

Arimistane Side Effects The biggest side effect with any estrogen blocker is the negative side effects on your blood lipids and cholesterol [3]. Estrogen is not only Neuro – and Libido sparing, but it is also cardiovascular sparing. Other side effects of the Arimistane estrogen blocker are [4]:

 • Possible liver health decline
 • Kidney damage
 • Hair loss
 • Changes in behavior
 • Awful lipid metabolism
Where Can I Buy Arimistane? Arimistane is for sale at various online shops, the most famous of which as the Huge Health and Hi Tech Pharmaceuticals versions. The Huge version seems to have 50% more of the active ingredient, Arimistane estrogen blocker, and also has a lot of other ingredients as well.

Arimistane vs. Other Compounds Arimistane vs Arimidex Arimidex is a very popular estrogen blocker and also falls into the category of aromatase inhibitor. It can be used to combat increased estrogen, however, it is not a suicide inhibitor. Arimistane would be slightly better, especially for lighter Prohormone cycles or for those only using SARMs to build muscle.

Arimistane vs Aromasin Aromasin is the other suicide inhibitor. It has been around for a lot longer, and while Arimistane can be sold as a “dietary supplement”, Aromasin cannot. Aromasin is a lot stronger, and should only be used by those doing BIG cycles.

Arimistane vs Letrozole Letrozole is pretty much a nuke. If you already have gyno, and you already have super high estrogen levels, and you already shit the bed, then and only then do you use Letrozole. Some of the strongest stuff on the market, and should be treated with respect. Or, just left alone really.

Is Arimistane Legit? Legit? Absolutely. There are plenty of other Anti Estrogen products for you to use that have more of a history and definitely less “negative reviews”. That said, I think Arimistane finds a sweet spot where it is not as strong as the others because it doesn’t need to be…

Not all of us are running 3 grams of Test. For those who are running a low amount of substance, you don’t need such a potent Aromatase inhibitor. Arimistane fits that bill perfectly.

Arimistane PCT for SARMs? Sure! Arimistane would make a good PCT for SARMs – at least the SARMs that need a PCT (they don’t all need a PCT). Ideally, you would work with a healthcare professional to make sure your blood work is perfect, but a lot of people would use 25 – 75mg per day for 2 – 3 weeks for a PCT.

Arimistane Hi Tech Pharmaceuticals? I prefer the Huge Arimistane. It is quite a bit stronger and has a lot of other products in it as well. If you ran a low dose cycle, sure the Hi Tech Pharmaceuticals one might be good enough, but I always air on the side of caution.

Arimistane on Cycle? It is not unheard of to run an Estrogen blocker on cycle. Arimistane can be used up to 100mg per day, however, use too much and you severely limit the amount of muscle mass you end up building.
