My dr (well, his nurse) just confirmed that my natural test levels are low (6.9), and they will start me on testosterone replacement therapy. They want to do 8 weeks on a patch, and then check my levels again. My dr isn't in the office to talk to right now. I asked about injections (test cyp), and the nurse talked to another dr and they said they could do andro-gel or the patch, but they stay away from injections because hormone levels are less constant.
So basically I'm looking for advice on which way to go, whether to hold out or get a 2nd opinion to get injections, etc. I'm going to go research as much as I can, but hoping someone has some good info for me. My first goal obviously is to feel better and to be able to make progress in the gym, but ideally I want my test levels as high as possible, etc. I've obviously been considering using AAS for quite awhile, but have been natural to date - not even any pro-hormones. But this explains why my sex drive has been low, haven't been able to gain muscle like I think I should, been moody and kinda passive, etc.
Thanks, and hit me with a PM if you don't want to post!
