I'm 33 and have lifted weights pretty consistently since I was 15. I've had tendonitis in my wrist and thumb, a torn labrum in my shoulder, knee surgery, and lord knows what else due to lifting. It makes me wonder how professional bodybuilders can go as long as they do.
 
I am willing to bet many high level gguys take pain meds, could be wrong but I doubt it
 
I agree with Metal on this... I think when you get older like guys like Presser you have train smarter.. LOL .. It isn't always about the weight that you can push or pull.. I think about trying to keep wat you have..
 
I ignore the pain like a moron and push through it, this is exactly why and how I broke my fucking arm
