I heard that if you dont ramp up and ramp down t3, it can shut you down. But Id like to know if anyone has proof of this. I keep hearing rumblings of people using t3 inappropriately, but not getting shut down.

It depends on the dosage. The higher you go, the more likely you will get shut down. The feedback loop for T3 seems to react a little differently than for test. Also, it takes a little while for exogenous T3 (or T4) to take effect from my understanding, 2-3 weeks.

I had a friend , bodybuilder friend and he didnt use the t3 properly and he now has a problem with keeping fat off, it did a big number on him and fucked him up real good, and he got fat to the point you would never know he was a bodybuilder at one time

i played around with 2 t3 cycles.... wasnt that impressed. I dont think i followed the ramp down protocol.

I personally never had any issues with T3 at all...But the most I would go up to is 50mcg's per day

DUDE!!!! lol, come on man, I know you know better then that! I honestly hope your not fucked up from doing it wrong also!

I did pyramids of 20mcg-120mcg. Eight weeks alternating ephedrine and clen along with it. I never saw the big deal with T3 or T4 for that matter.

Ditto ^^^^ . im totally against them now. Not worth messing with your thyroid.

my wife is on t4. Years back... (way back) i took one of her pills... was jacked till like 6am... lol. But looking back- that was really stupid.

When i clean up again, ill have my levels checked.

T4 doesn't really do much. It is the storage form of thyroid hormone. Supposedly, your body will convert some of what you're taking to T3 is the idea behind taking it. Norm, you should definitely get your thyroid levels tested to see what is going on there to know for sure if you're messed up or not. Considering how you reacted then, perhaps your T3 was low, and maybe it is low now.

ANyone have any issues recently with t3? I figured I would bump this and see whats new with this?

Nope, love it.

The only "new" think I hear (well new for me) is to run tren along with T3 to combat prolactin or something like that but it is suppose to help with a side from tren.

I run it at 75mcg daily. Its great.. When I initially used it I needed to come down around 15-20lbs so I was running 100-150mcg for a few week. Got very fait here and light headed etc however on 75mcg it is fine, you wouldnt know you took it except your fat levels are very low.
T3 is down to the individual, if you don't need to take it then don't, but if you struggle keeping the fat off on a bulk or getting the skin nice and thin then this will certainly help. As for long term use it is like anything, it would be foolish to say that it doesnt every have a negative effect however it has been used for a long time and people have taken it for long periods and there thyroid actvity has jumped back after comming off.
