I am fond of Christmas but not the madness that goes with it. The traveling and annoying family members are not my forte'. I also miss my father who left this world pretty young at 58. This is probably one of the hardest times of the year for many. I do love giving to others and the fact that people seem nicer at least for a little while. I actually love Christmas music too especially O Holy Night. It reminds me Im forgiven. Hope it gets better for ya soon.

What i hate is the whole idea of giving. giving what? we all spend money we dont have to buy people shit they probably dont even want. why are we in debt again?

Yeah the spending/gift giving thing is fucking bullshit. I don't do it at all. A celebration for the kids, okay I can understand that. But buying my in-law a gift for...what again am i buying them gifts for? I'm not religious but what in the motherfuck does swaping presents have to do with Jesus H. Christ? This is a great commericially generated day/holliday but that's pretty much where it ends.

I don't care if you don't like my opinion. We all have one. I do have to agree with you on the buying gifts for people we aren't fond of. It gets blown way out of proportion. My family decided to only buy for the kids and draw names so we don't have to spend a fortune.

Oh by the way the grinch ended up loving Christmas. Maybe you forgot what it was like to be a kid and maybe you don't have any but in a world that is so screwed up its nice to see them forget everything bad in the world and be happy at least for a few days.
