i know its very common to develop scar tissue from frequent injection.. and most guy get it in their delts since its where most start using.

my question is with the outer quads being such a large muscle from top to bottom, has scar tissue in this area been a problem for anyone?

I developed it on both legs. You can't really see it, even in contest shape, but you can feel it. I'm going to start having deep tissue to break it up, but I'm hesitant b/c I know its going to be horribly painful.

yeah, it sucks. The pin never wants to go in....... and then finally, wham!! I hate it

My scar tissue will actually tear sometimes when I do heavy squats and leave a bruise a few days later.

my delts are f-ed. If you look at my avatar, you can see the scare tissue in my delt i think.

I don't see it. Its probably one of those that you would at least have to point out. Thought about any deep tissue massage to get rid of it? I just had one yesterday and I'm in some good pain now, but IMO its necessary.

maybe cause i know its there. but in that pick you can def see a round lighter shade with a darker center. im off, so that build up is from injections in the past.

Pound more water... it keeps you from hurting.

What size pins do you guys use? Is build up like this inevitable with prolonged usage? Can it at least be reduced by using 25g or smaller if possible?

I'm not sure you could use any oil based compounds through a 25g needle. I actually tried to get vegetable oil through a 25g just to test it out and not a single drop made it. It's not that it came slow... it didn't come at ALL. So you'd basically be limiting your options if you wanted only 25g needles.

but I guess it would be good for people using mostly water based compounds.

its not even good for water based unless the powder used to make the compound is micronized, otherwise it would clog the pin. Also some labs use a EO/oil mix. EO thins out the gear so it can be drawn with a smaller pin, which is nice:thumbsup:

i disagree... i can pretty much push anytype of oil through a 25g...
it may be alittle slower, but its better than dealing with the scar tissue
