anyone work out 2x a day on same body part???

Never tried this... Id be worried that id be over training. But, im in a position in my life where i can hit the gym 2x's a day. So i could go in and bomb biceps and triceps ... wait 8 hours, them bomb them again.

I kinda wonder if you had your diet, sleep, gear all at 100% if your body could recover enough to hit it again 4 days later.

come on guys!! give me some input.
 
prime reason why i think this might be effect is, My muscles get so fatigued by the end.

i want f-ing pain tomorrow.
 
I would say split them up ...bis in the morning, tri's at night...and do lots of volume, and very intense ...but yeah I have done both (bis and tri's) morning and evening every once awhile
 
im surprised... i was thinking id be a lot weaker the second time around. I actually got a pump even the second time....

Crazy amount of time at the gym... I think it took up 3 hours of my day. But i want to try something new.

That's what I was going to suggest. If I could hit the gym twice a day, I would do once muscle group at a time (two groups per day) and give it hell.
 
normally if i do a split it would be on leg day. my trainer has me doing everything in one day, and its pretty hard to hit quads,
hams, glutes all at once. so for the past 2 weeks ive been going in the the AM and hitting hams (my weaker body part)
then going back at night and hitting the rest.
 
Im giving four days of rest before i hit a muscle again. Im on a lot of gear and getting a lot of sleep. Maybe i will be sore.... its just taking a while??? I dont know, but i did about 20+ sets on both bi and tri yesterday.
