Reverse Grip Bench Press

there is this asshole guy at my gym who does these all the time. he reps 315 for like 10 or more. Hes nothing to look at, but his tri's are huge! Personnaly i think they are akward, and uncomfortable, especially if you go heavy
 
They actually hit your upper pec more than an incline bench. I use them when I superset bis and tris. I'll do a set of close grip for tris and these for bis and it'll activate the upper pec also. I don't go heavy, just go fast to get a good pump with moderate weight.
 
Couple times a year ill do them to burn out my tri's on the smith machine, nothing to crazy though, just maybe a plate on each side
 
I'll only do these on the smith machine. Too much risk of the bar slipping out of your hand otherwise.
 
Just seen an article about them in the new Flex mag. It was saying it was a great upper chest workout. Well now Im going to have to try them.
