i'm so glad someone posted this. i was reading this month's md and in it jason hue is interviewed by flex wheeler. when flex asked him whether he used a belt he barked back 'hell yes do'. he claims that when he trains without a belt that his core is worked to such an extent he actually gets pumped...to which he made a good point...'some muscles you shouldn't work and thats one group i don't want to develop.'
i thought that was an interesting point. can using a belt, with the goal of minimizing the use of your core, help?
he also claimed that in his life he could count on one hand how many time he's trained abs. he said that once you diet down, they'll 'come in, no doubt about it.'
