Updated pics - wt. 258lbs (sunday morning, after saturday carb up)

Pretty happy with these pics...Overall I have more size starting out than last year, (242lbs vs.260bls) Just as lean as last year, more thickness from front to back (chest/back) Arms are coming up, still putting alot of focus in them...Going to talk to Mike about maybe doing some special training for them (2 x a week, FST 7 or something simular)...I know Mike is big on starting out with compound movements for a lower reps (6-10) before moving on to isolation movements..So maybe some heavy barbell work and close grip benches...Quads, are looking thicker, but I would like more sweep overall on them...but gonna focus on the compound stuff with them first...Squats, heavy leg presses, before lunges, ect...

If you guys go suggestions, please put them up...im all ears... ;)

looking good again bro! I seen how much you said you weigh now as opposed to last year at this time, so how much more muscle do you think you will have this time when dieted all the way down to show time?

Looking good man, the legs look pretty thick and your arms look big as hell

im glad they look big, cause they are only about 19.5 inches cold...maybe a tad more now, but last time I checked ...thats what they where...20 would be awesome !!!!

Well Mike and I are thinking around 230-235lbs or so..I personally think last year I couldve been a very lean and dry 226-228lbs, if I was full...So this year the goal is to be just as lean (if not a tad leaner) and full/dry around 230ish pounds...

so if you get down to 230ish, you wouldnt try to suck down to heavyweight? Or do you feel that doing so, it would mess with "look" your aiming at? In other words, do you feel it would hurt you trying to make the 225 cut off?

I agree. Shoot for striated glutes, but you know your body better than I do

well this is how im looking at it...the last couple times, ive tried to get down to 224lbs, I have looked very, very flat...and stringy (for me)...I believe that my best look is to come in full and dry at around 230lbs or so (my guessing weight, could be more or less) Im have been ready to go around 226-230lbs last time, but when I sucked down, my body didnt want to carb up very well...it was so depleted, that I couldnt get enough food in me to look good on stage...So this year, (in the Regional level show) im gonig to go with a full and (hopefully) dry look on stage at the Iowa State show...at Jr.Nats it will be another full 9 weeks to decide what Mike and I want to do for that show.
