I'm at 243 lbs right now and my goal is to get to 270 by the end of feb 2012.. Wat do you guys thing about this. Like I said before I really don't know shit when it comes to diets..

nuk nuk is right, you're going to want to pound the carbs if you're trying to put nearly 30 pounds on...You can do it though

try this for help getting the carbs in. Start at eating 300 grams a day, then after 3 weeks up to 400. Another 3 weeks 500. This will help with being able to eat that much and also help keep the fat from coming on.

I will try that Nuk.. And let you know how it go's. thanks bro.

even if you have to start with a 100 or 200, just get in habit and routine with it and up it every 3 weeks.

I don't think I will have a problem with starting out at 300 grams a week and going from there.

I eat alot of fruits.. But not so many veggies .. If I lack one thing it is veggies !!

Veggies are important for many reasons but from a bodybuilding standpoint, most fats and proteins shift the body to an acid pH, while most fruits, veggies, nuts ,seeds, legumes shift the body to an alkaline pH. If you body is too acidic, it reduces the mitochondria energy production for muscle contraction and relaxation and also cellular repair which will accelerate overtraining and reduce your ability to recover after training. There are many other overall health benefits, but to prevent a excessively long post, I'll just say, veggies are important!! :)

Brocolli and green beans are easy to make and they are great sources of carbs. You can buy those frozen steam in a bag things at Walmart so all you have to do is throw it in the microwave and enjoy lol
