Would you be able to survive?

If the US dollar lost its value, and there was a new nationalized currency, that made the US dollar almost useless, would you be able to survive?
If it got to the point where there was no more internet, phones, gas, grocery stores, credit cards, would you survive, at the location you are at, assuming everyone around you also needs to survive?

id survive, i would farm my land (already starting). i have room to raise cattle, pigs, ect...
also have plenty of land to harvest animals (deer, birds, squirrels) and the guns and ammo to do so. i have a small fresh water stream in the back yard safe for drinking.. im ready for it

The MAIN THING YOU WOULD NEED IN THIS TYPE OF SITUATION IS A GUN. It would become survival of the fitness aka survival of the best armed. If you couldnt protect your property, food ect by way of firearms you would be FUCKED, cause someone armed would take whatever they wanted, your food, your shelter, your loved ones....

So I think a few guns would be your only way to survive

oh and to answer ur question, NO I wouldnt be able to survive, we have no guns and barely enough food here to last a couple weeks, my wife and i have talked about this actualy, for example if their were chaos or a nuclear explosion, we are going to meet at her parents house, her dad has the firearms ,lol, and thats where i want to be, looking down the sites not the barrel

I have a pretty good supply of guns, however, I'm always on the road working...so I basically just stuck with a hand gun and a knife

Yep. Myself and some friends have been preparing. Tons of dry rice, beans, some canned goods etc. I've also got an AR with 10,000 rounds, Spec Ops Remington 870 with over 1,000 rounds, 4,000 rounds for my .40 cal Glock and about 3,000 for my .45 Glock. I've got a few hundred for my various other weapons. I've also got several friends within a few blocks with similar weapons depots and tactical training. We've got body armor, gas masks, Kabar, knives (several), gun cleaning kits, you name it. I practice what I preach. I buy 1000 rounds a month. I still want to get a 308. Then I'll be set.

Still need to get some antibiotics and a few other things. A buddy has water filtration supplies, generators, and plenty of fuel. It may never happen, but if it does there wont be anyone with any thoughts of my wife or my supplies and I'll also be claiming the local gym.

Of course!! If you can make it down to Fl. We've got properties in Tenn as well. I'm sure some that don't know me think I'm a bit of a freak, but my wife is the most level headed person I've ever met and she supports it so I must not be as crazy as they say LOL! Besides what better group of people than us like minded people to put things back in order. As far as survival.... not a problem.
