This thing has been killing me the last few weeks. I don't ever get any tendon or ligament pain so this is a new one. I don't even know what exercises to avoid.

Do you have a stem machine with the electrode pads you can put on the? If you don't look them up on amazon. I bought one last year and at the first hint of tendon Pain I'll put it on there for 20 min a couple if times a day and the pain is gone. They are about $85. If you don't know what I'm talking about I'll post a link. It l's a must for any serious lifter I think!

Those are the things that send electric impulses through the muscle/tendon or wherever you put it?

Yes and they work pretty good. My elbow was so bad though that I had to get a shot. Best thing I ever did. My elbow had been hurtn me for like 6 or 7 years though so it was time to do something. Honestly Dude, doing tri's never really hurt my elbow. Doing chest and believe it or not, shoulders really hurt my elbow. Laterals were fckn brutal bro. But ever since I got my shot I haven't had any probs what so ever. Of course I know it will come back eventualy, but I'm sure gonna enjoy it till it does....

Sounds like lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). 9 times out of 10 its in the dominant arm. Ice,nsaids, rest etc etc...cortisone shot if it continues

I think you may be talking about a tens unit. Yes a low end one is in the $100 range, then you have to buy the adhesive pads which need to be replaced every so often.

Bro I tweeked mine over 6 months ago doing dumbell tri. ext's, then re-injured 6 wks later pushing my car. Its still not 100%. I just try to find excersises that dont hurt it. Skullcrushers no way, even pushdowns strain it a bit.....dips are fine which is amazing, close grips are fine.

Good luck on it

Get one of these. They work.

Even though it's actually in the elbow groove? If yes I'll add it to my collection. I have a tens unit and an ultrasound. I've been using DMSO, but I keep forgetting to do it, plus it's wet (therefor transdermal) for a while after and that scares me.

Works on about half of the patients w/ tennis elbow. At least its a non invasive thing to try
