Cindee and I just got back yesterday from dropping off the kids at camp for the week and we are kid free. It sucks every year but it does us good but man do I miss my boys already!

I dont know how I'm going to be able to work this week.

My oldest told me last week; "we (7 and 5 mind you) finally get a break from you guys."

Do any of you spend time away from your kids?

First time this year - my older son (11) will be going to Florida with my wife's aunt and uncle (they have a place there) and will be staying at least a month. Besides a few one-night sleepovers, that's about the only time he's been away. We're keeping the younger one, for various reasons. Still, it won't be the same.

Bro, my sons are 19 and 17. I miss them so much. I mean they still live at home, for now, but I hardly ever see them. My oldest is moving out in a month and mama is really having a hard time letting go. I'm gna miss him alo, but he's gna be 20 in december and is ready to spread his wings and fly. Gta respect that. My youngest is way to much like me when I was his age. Pussy and partying are the only thing on his mind right now, but he and I have a great relationship. Enjoy them why you can, cause they grow up so fast and once they are gone, they are gone.....

my oldest who is also 11 is doing a week at a fine arts school and staying with his grandmother. he left yesterday and I wont see him until this sunday. its crazy im not even their biological father but love all three of the little guys so much and really do miss them even when they spend the weekend with their father. but i will say i do like nights alone with momma oh hell yeah loud, late and long, then wake up at noon lol

I enjoyed a great workout tonight, I never workout this late bit it was nice while Cindee is at work. I didn't have to worry about rushing to get the kids out of the gym day care and worry about rushing home and getting them fed and bathed. I'm just relaxing watching my Fathers Day gift, Act of Valor.

picked up my little guys on Saturday in a quick turnaround trip, what a bitch. It broke my heart when I got there, my youngest began to cry and told me he was sorry and if I was still his best friend. My oldest told me that his brother thought we had left him there because he was bad lol.

Poor kid. That would have made me cry. lol
I remember the first time my two daughters had a week camp at the same
time. Left on Sat. and on wed. I was watching TV in the living room and
wife was in bedroom reading/watching something different on tv. I came
in the bedroom and said "I think I am starting to remember what it was
like before kids and I feel guilty cus I kinda like it". Missed em but sure
was nice. Daughters are now 17 and 14 and both have busy social lives
so all I do is drive them to and from. Oh yeah, and keep dishing out the
$$ for movies ect.

It was hard to admit to each other the first couple of days when they were gone, but yeah it was nice. We didn't even know what the hell to do.

It's people like you that actually make me want to have boys of my own. I don't have any kids, but I'm on the fence whether I do or not, but reading about guys that are so involved in their boys' lives it makes me want them as dumb as that sounds.
