I've experienced the same, when I lived in Germany I started down the AAS road, some really knowledgable friends, and my Roomate from Jersey helped me in the way of training, diet and supplements. I listened, learned and grew, and then continued on my own when I got back to the states. I've had many approach me about it, but only a handful I would ever talk to about my experience. It's a great feeling when you help someone, that's really trying to help themselves, achieve a goal. Then there is the other side, I'm here now, family member skinny as hell, also lazy, has been asking me for years now. I want to help, but I offer to get him in the gym for free....damn near gear for free, life changing goals. When I was offered the opportunity, I literally RAN to the bank to get the funds I needed, ha ha. But he's like, well I'll train at a gym close to me....hmm ok, he dosn't eat, can't commit to anything, except bugging me about Gear. I'm pretty sure my time and efforts will be wasted. Some people will never appreciate your knowledge or time for what it is, a part of you.
