Bad flu season

I was wondering if the Flu was as bad in other areas as it is here. I work at the local hospital and we have had 3 deaths and several people on a ventilator. One of the deaths was a 39 year old man. The local news station said today that we were the hardest hit in our state(TN).

Is the flu as bad in your area??

Yea lots of people got it here in alabama so did I which i rarely get sick. Im glad its over and plan on putting some of that weight i lost back on

Its terrible here and the stomach bug is going around like wild fire. One of my workers was out a week with the flu, he came back and now I have another one out with pneumonia. I tell them if you have the flu or the dodo bug do not I repeat do not show up at work. I can't afford to get sick or get my little one sick.

I've been in Healthcare for close to 20 years and I have never been in a hospital where people are dying and shit right there with ya. Especially some younger than me. Its bad...

Docs in area are suggesting that anyone with a fever should call physician or go to ER immediatley

Bad here, just got over the flu myself along with my wife who's temp got up to 103.7. Now our son is sick, keeping a very close eye on him.
