For some front delts come into play alot when doing regular bar curls or EZ bar curls, drag curls are a good way to take the shoulders out of the movement.

Well I dont know if this answers your question, but I find I build better with a slower negative, a controlled one of say 4 seconds or so instead of just blasting through the movement. You have to tear the muscles and then repair them, tear and repair, training and proper recuperation is the key...
A different split than DC suggests. The reason is bec he wants to train each bp as many times per year as possible and make continual progress over the year.
