who was the last person you saw military pressing 315 that had undeveloped shoulders? i think some assistance work for the bi's can be beneficial if you are getting into bbing but for pure raw mass i deadlift, squat, military press, row and incline/decline bench.

true, but PLer's dont overhead press so how do they have big shoulders? aside from benching and deadlifting which develop the front and rear head, where does the side head get developed from if they only do squat, bench, dead and assistance work like board presses, rack lockouts, rack pulls, box squats etc which are just variations of the big three?

Just found a pic of this bro' Dead Lifting 1520 Pounds...

As if that isn't enough. This bro' isn't exactly huge! WTF! Goes to show size doesn't always = strength and strength can come in small packages!

The lift you are seeing is a PARTIAL DEADLIFT. the weight sits up on the boxes you can see under the weight on the right side of the photo. he is lifting the weight only 6-8 inches from the top of the box in his strongest range of motion. This is still an incredible feat of strength.

What all these guys said. I can rack pull over 500lbs easy but have trouble getting up 405 x 5. That pick is showing off more the straps....lol....still incredible, but don't confuse that with an actual deadlift.

I think that guy would look amazing if i dieted down, i'm all about training like a powerlifter, training like this gives your muscles a harder look than those who train purely bodybuilding style. Marius is an excellent example of this, look hour dense that guy's muscle looks!

its true. you look dense as fuck. all i ever did for chest were dumbells and weighted dips. no machines whatsoever. for back, i had nothing until i switched to deadlifts and barbell/dumbell rows. since then, my back became thick and dense. now if i can add a ton more mass and density to my delts and legs i would be much happier.
