again, i thank you all.
tonite i went to the viewing and mass. it was very sad. she looked beautiful. i was pleased to see how many attended. i was also pleased to see how many of my brothers friends came, even those who had not had a chance to meet his girl. just before they closed the casket, the parents, sister and sister's husband, and finally my brother went to say a final good bye. seeing that the others went up to the casket as couples, i decided that i did not want my brother to say his goodbye alone, i quickly proceeded to the front of the church to be by his side as he sobbed his last farewell.
the ceremony was wonderful and in the end i saw that their family had chosen my brother as one of the pall bearers. im sure he was honored and at the same time heartbroken to be able to lead his love to her final resting grounds.
the funeral is tomorrow and is private. only the immediate family and my bro are allowed to attend this service.
as i drove home from the service i saw how one could easily get into a fatal accident due to the dark, wooded, and curvy roads.
I just now know that she has moved on to a better place with God.
From her sister:
"I close my eyes and see your face
And when the wind blows
I hear your voice.
You are my friend.
And now
My guardian angel.
I see you in my dreams
And you are always in my heart.
You are my sunshine
In a world of clouds
And my rainbow after the storm
You are my sister
And I love you.
So I will not say goodbye.
Only good night.
Until next time."
From her parents:
"You will always be our baby. ~Until we meet in heaven"
