What is your guys thinking on abb work? High reps? Heavy resistance?
I dont work them much. I tend to think diet brings them out but was
wondering what kind of results you guys were getting and what you are
doing for them.

Thats funny. I have found my ab's get sore when I go really hard on triceps.
Seriously, standing tri pushdowns on pully really heavy or seated overhead
really heavy. Abs are sore as hell from straining on each rep.

high rep crunches, leg lifts every day after 20 min of cardio. wish i kept up with that.

What exactly is your goal with your abs? Squats, deadlift, and even the standing tricep pulldown will work your abs, but only in an isometric way. You do need some isokinetic training with abs as well to make them stand out. When you diet down, your abs will show, but to get the "relief pattern" of abs standing out, they have to be built up a little. That means some resistance training with weight. Bear in mind that this will increase your waist size a bit. Normally, you'll find a balance between high-reps and heavy weight to which you respond the best.

I use rope crunches and sit-ups with a barbell. For both, I go with a weight where I can only do 8-12. I found that when I started this, the size of the muscles really increased. But, as Saudades said, it will increase your waist size. I also work-out my obliques and they are big. It looks great if I keep my BF low, but if it gets higher, I just have a thicker waist.

Yep Most People Just Want To Do Muscle Building Exercises Under Their Fat Abs And Rolls, And Do Not Realize Their Waist Will Just Look Fatter, Granted A Little Heat In That Area From These Exercises Burns Fat But Not If U Cant Already See Some Abs Showing Through, That Was Always My Rule When Training People, I Wouldnt Let Them Do Ab Muscle Building Exercises Unless U Could See Some Abs

If No Abs Were Showing It Was Cardio And Diet Period And They Didnt Like That
