accutane and gear

I was wondering if it was cause any harm to take like some deca while im taking accutane? And if you have ever taken accutane, i here you breack out pretty bad before it gets better, if so, how long untill you start to actually clear up, thanks a lot

I'll bump this for ya. I have never had acne bad so i have no idea about the possible reactions with accutane.

I've heard that accutane can be harsh on the liver but since your not using any orals that shouldn't be a problem, anyone else care to add anything? I've personally never used the drug, i've been fortunate not to have acne.

i had super bad ance on my back and forehead before accutane...now i have nothing. i used it while cycling sust/deca. cleared everything up, and didn't get worse before better. i had no problems what so ever using both at the same time. i definately recommend it for bad acne.

I hear nothing but good things about it but beware it dries you out really bad and it is indeed harsh on your liver, so much so that Doc's usually have you come in regularly for liver value tests while on it... if you could wait to run the Deca I'd wait but then again I wouldn't run deca alone anyway...

I have been on accutane in the past and it worked great however it will dry you out pretty bad and give you the occasional nose bleed. The acne will get a little worse before it gets better due to the fact that the pores have not been dried out yet and the dry skin will clog your pores. I highly reccomend accutane though because it worked great for me. Be patient and stick with it, you'll be glad you did. Also make sure you're taking some stuff to help protect your liver because it is very hard on it, maybe some Ala and milk thistle.

the IP accutane is really good...if you get it make sure to chew it before swallowing because it's coated with something that will basically just allow it to bypass your stomach and be excreted. you only need to chew it 2 or 3 times and then swallow. also, make sure to eat right after taking your pills. it can erode your esophagus(sp?) if you throw up afterwards or some reason. like others said take a liver protectant and if you can, get blood tests done 1/month. synthetek.com has some good liver protection supps...check them out.

Accutane and gear do mix, but you just need to check your liver values (which you should do anyway). If you take liver protectants like Flex suggests, then you should probably do fine. It does help, though it didn't kick it all for me.
