Come hang out in Phoenix for the summer. We only have 1 heat wave over 110, usually from June-August.
lol, so u have one long heat wave lol. is that 110 the actual temp or is that the heat index?

We had 63 straight days and 85 out of 86 days of 100+ degrees in dallas last year. Worst fucking 3 months of my life!!! No rain but usually 60% humidity. EVERY single day was the exact same thing. Lakes got so low no one was allowed to take their boats out. Literally hell on Earth.

Sorry I am mistaken it was a total of 70 days with 100 degree weather but there was 63 straight days of 100 degree days. I remember the day that it didn't get to 100, it was the Sat of the Europa, it hit 99 that day.
This is from USA today. Whichta Falls is only 30 miles from my parents house!
The National Weather Service said the high Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport reached triple digits for the 70th day this year. It broke a record from the 1980 summer that was considered the standard-bearer for Texas heat waves.
Wichita Falls broke its 1980 record several weeks ago, and Tuesday marked its 100th day of 100 degrees this year, according to weather service figures.
Dallas-Fort Worth became the 15th market among 19 around Texas to break a record for triple-digit days this year.
Several Texas cities have nearly doubled records, and College Station broke a 94-year-old record this year.

Holy shit, thats incredible, I honestly had no idea that it was that bad anywhere in this country, summers are getting way worse thats for sure
