have you tried it an hour before the gym? I notice when i do, i seem to carb up pretty good, and look a lot fuller during the workoutI do the same thing in the morning, but I DO wake up hungry. If I didn't have the ambien, I would be waking up every couple of hours having to eat something. The missed sleep would be worse for my recovery so I try not to wake up in the middle of the night if possible. There have been a couple of times when even with the ambien I woke up in the middle of the night and could not go back to sleep without eating something.
