Back Training Quick Tips

First of all, be sure to prevent your shoulders from rolling forward at the end of a row. When the weight gets too heavy, it's common to see individuals round their shoulders forward to reduce range of motion. But keeping your chest up helps with engaging the back muscles better. The same applies to lat pulldown variations.

Next, you want to prevent pulling too much with your biceps. Instead, focus on moving your elbows back. When you just row the weight up and down, it is common for the biceps to take on more work. But when you focus on bringing the elbows back, your lats and biceps work together more effectively.

Lastly, to effectively train your back region, use exercises that target the back from different angles. Your back consists of a wide variety of muscles and the only way to train the entire back region well is to do a variety of pull movements. So include a variety of horizontal and vertical pulling movements in your training (
