hello,
i have been running test for 8 months now. started with test enanthate at 500mg. wk. along with tren acetate 100mg. eod along with masteron 100mg. eod, and
winstrol 40mg. orally daily for six wks. however i ran the tren and masteron along w test e for a total of twenty wks. afterwards i continued running test prop. at 100mg. eod uprave until the last two months when i tren lowered my dose to 200mg. a wks. or a half cc eod. more as a maintnance dose. similar rotrt dosing.
my reasoning for this is initially i didnt want to come off for fear of losing my gains so i just continued running my prop. all my substaintial gains were made sitnim the first 18-20wks. shortly thereafter my gains came to a crawl. so i just maintained what i achieved. i am currently 40 years old. my current stats are as follows. 5'10" 192 w 11 percent bf. prior to taking this seemingly endless cycle i was 21 percent bf at 215lbs.
my mom passed away four months ago and to avoid the depression i continued running thereafter. while on tren i had little to no emotions. which helped me get thru most of the emotional pain. i know this wasnt the brightest idea. i also ran arimidex 1mg. every third day and caber while running the tren. I am already planning my next cycle. my question is- should i even bother running hcg. at 1000mg. a day for ten days and then tamoxifen at 40-40-20-20 for four wks.and then rest for the next four months b4 jumping back on? is there any chance that i will get my HPTA axis back to normal or have i suppressed it so long that i dont stand any chance returning to normal? od just cont. running 100mg. a wk until i started back up in four months. i have no problem staying on trt for life. i feel better on test than ever. and dont want to loose the physique ive obtained and dont know if i can retain all or most of my gains once off the juice. any and all comments r greatly appreciated.
tajnika guys.

Wow, that's a long ass cycle brother. I run these from time to time at 18-20 weeks, but I blast and cruise. I'll bump this thread til someone can chime in with proper PCT protocol advice for ya. At 40, I don't know that your gonna fully recover though. Just my opinion...

thanks for looking out, if i dont fully recover will i atleast have enough natural test to function properly? ill always rim juice to make my biggest gains from here on out

Its hard to predict. Some guys snap right back and some never do. I know that's vague as hell, but its the truth. Assuming your Natural Test was alright when you jumped on, then its a much better scenerio

That age range PCT will depress you and you will have no motivation. Trust me on this. That's a long time for your body to recover from its dependency and you have completely suppressed your own production and at 40 your already low. PCT in big amounts and for half the time you were in is protocol usually.
If your coming completely off then follow the high PCT for half the duration you were on or until you feel your balls increase in size again.

Im speaking from experience not opinion here.

Chances are that if you attempt a restart your test will be low. Only way to know would be to get blood work done. But at your age and the length of your blast and cruise cycle. It is almost safe to say TRT will be in your future.
I'm 42 and I have been blasting and cruising for 2 yrs . I love it! I feel great all the time.

I agree. Blast and cruise is the way to go at our age..... Feeling awesome

"mom passed away four months ago and to avoid the depression I continued running" I am also 40 bro but my father passed when I was 20. Trust me when I say this... At 40 years old come off 100%, don't use any PCT gear, talk to your Doctor letting him know whats up and how you feel just like this post bro! At 40 years old there is a good chance you might get a script for test!

However at 40 years old staying on to long only 3 things will come out of it bro and from what your saying one of them has started! 1 your health will force you to stop, 2 your mental state like whats going on right now and or being lucky a Doctor will check your blood, give you a scrip and keep you healthy!

Sorry to hear about your moms passing Scotty. Hopefully you'll finding the answer you're looking for. Obviously I'm a girl so I'll be of no help, but the guys here on MC are pretty smart so I have no doubt they'll lead ya in the right direction. Good luck.

I want to give thanks to everyone that took the time to read my post and for the responses given.

How much is your recommended dose for cruising? and do you suggest propionate or enanthate? I suppose it doesn't much matter as long as blood levels are kept constant. eod injections do get tire
tiresome month after month but I can contend w them. hardly feel them anymore.
thanks again,
Scotty

PUMMPED recommendation is good. My opinion is that getting your test levels back up is highly unlikely and during the course of this it is likely that you'll lose ground. At 40 your natural test level are probably pretty low anyways. The good part about the Dr is likely less legal worry, but that's replaced with worry that your levels will get back in the acceptable range for your next blood test. Also what each individual Dr deems "Acceptable" is highly variable. Some Dr's want no more than 500mg/dl. My Dr was cool with 1000ng/dl. Also most insurance companies wont cover TRT.
I went on TRT at 27 and wouldn't have it any other way. I want to be optimal and I like things to be under my control. I get regular blood tests and despite what my experiments would lead people to believe, Im in amazing health. Far better than average. A good diet, regular exercise, and steady hormone levels are FAR more important than most people know or admit to.

Agree with the Dude on this, I ran test and tren early in my twenties and never seen natural test levels again. Thats all it took for me. Others may be different but once is all it took for me. of course i didn't have proper pct either. I do the blast cruise method as many others do, unfortunately i blasted to long this last cycle and clogged receptors to much. Gains stopped no matter the dose. 12-20 weeks is plenty for long ester cycle. not sure about the cruise, everyone has an opinion on this.

I agree with PUMPED and The Dude. I'm 45 and on TRT, doc prescribed. This is my 2nd go round on trt, long story there. Bottom line is, without blood work you've poking and hoping to a certain extent.

The other side to that is - and this pretty much contradicts what I just said about blood work - the dose that works for you really depends on your body, how you feel and what works for you. In addition, don't be surprised if what works initially stops working. You may find that you need to adjust your dose up OR DOWN. This may seem counter intuitive, but for me, some test is good; a little bit more is better; a little bit more yet is better yet; but more than that is too much! Backing off the dose or taking a short break while levels come down a little puts things back in the 'sweet spot', so to speak.

I suggest seeing a doc, level with him or her, and see what comes of it. If nothing good comes from it, see another doc. You REALLY have to be your own advocate on this, and be educated. I quickly discovered that most docs who are supposed specialists in hrt don't know shit. I have found a good one lately, but I have learned more about this topic here than from any doc I've seen.
