ok went to doctors yesterday to get bloodwork results, and he said in all his years he never seen anyones GOOD cholesterol so low, it should be at 45 and mine was 15 what the fuck is this all about, lol, i demand a recount, lol, my bad cholesterol wasnt high, everything was fine, my blood pressure has been perfect for 6 years straight with all perfect scores in terms of blood work but now this shit, anyone know anything about (good cholesterol) being tooooo low

Start eating more healthy fats and lay off the supps that affect cholesterol. Having a very low HCL could cause problems such as heart attack, blocked arteries, etc.

Never had that problem. If im on gear then usually good will drop and high will increase. I took 20mg of policosonal and it worked awesome.

Yep, one of my blood tests was like that. LDL was low, but HDL was 12. Both combined was still under the lower limit of the test range which is 130. My GP didn't like it and prescribed a cholesterol med which he said would raise the HDL. I got insomnia from the med so I stopped taking it. When I was tested just recently, the numbers were HDL 25 and LDL 104 (or something like that), and my endo said that it didn't look bad at all and wondered why my GP prescribed the med to me. He said there really shouldn't be a problem with it being like that. Some doctors just freak out a bit I guess.

I would get it checked again in say 60 days and if it doesn't change I would start doing some checking. I have no idea what supps you are on, but I know that on some old supps I had there was a warning that they could lower good cholesterol levels. I know someone said diet and that could definitely be the case as well. My other advice would be to go back and compare some previous results to this one. Your doc should have them on file.

Good advice. Where have you been, JT? I haven't seen any posts from you in a long time. Good to have you back.

Bro its from the gear. its lowers you HDL. There is a good article in this months Flex about it. My HDL was at 20 months ago. The dr.'s were freaking out about it.

You have to take in more fish oil and healthy fats.

If that level gets any lower it can cause a stroke. its serious business man

well he put me on some meds and demanded i do cardio, i never do cardio either im naturaLY LEAn, however just cause im lean doesnt mean my cardio vascular system is great so im starting the cardio tonight and ben on meds 2 days nows and retest is in 4 months he said

i did ask for my last blood test results he said it was 30 back then which also wasnt great but this result of 15 is whacked, dr has me spun

Surprisingly enough I was having blood issues. I was sick for about the last 7 months. I had a weird rash that caused my feet and hands to swell and itch like crazy. I could barely close my hands. I then had around 20k in bloodwork to discover I didn't have leukemia. I had some anxiety issues as I was in college fulltime and working two jobs. I guess that about covers it. I am now back to "normal" if there is a such. I started back working out 3 months ago and am finally getting back in shape. It is good to be back and I plan on trying to be a more avid poster.

get some GH going. Even a dose as low as 2 to 4 iu's a day does wonders with the health issues.

no,lol, cause i was on igf and it didnt help squat related to good cholesterol

doesnt read that way?lol , lol, anyways good to hear from ya doggy dog

yes GH affects cholesterol for the better, and No IGF will not help health issues like GH does. IGF only affects the muscle/fat issue. GH affects a vast varitey of issues, like blood pressure, cholesterol, skin, sex drive, energy, building muscle, losing fat, bone density, over all well being, and many more. Thats why its referred to as "the fountain of youth"

thats a new one on me bro, in terms of it helping raise my (good cholesterol) which is what i need personaly,

taking another drug to fix a health problem is not my idea of fixing the problem

Increase your fish oil to twice a day and you should go up about 10 points in the next few months. Liquid fish oil works alot better

Arimidex has a tendency to raise bad and lower good cholesterol levels over time. Bump on taking some fish or flax seed oil.
