Booking Flight & Hotel For "Mr Olympia" anyone have any experience where to stay?

Friend of mine is getting married in Vegas the weekend of the "Mr Olympia" and were all going to his wedding and to the Mr. O so my question is who else is going to be there and for those of you who went before what is the best hotel to stay at ect,....

Just looking for some insight and also I wanted to see who else was going to be there?

My wife starts back school in September so she is not sure she wants to take off already so not sure if I am going solo or not, or going at all , who knows at this point,lol

Yea buddy, I stay at the Marriot right next door to the convention. Seems like quite a few of the athletes do too. There isn't a casino in there so you avoid a lot of the knuckleheads.

Almost went last year, but waited too long and airfare doubled, so it didn't happen. I spent most of my vacation days this year on my competitions and the rest is saved for end of the year vacation. I literally don't have one extra day to sacrifice (nor do I have the $$$), or my ass would have booked that shizzle already!

I'm going to the Arnold again though... reserved my room last month! I can't wait for that!!

Really? I've only been to Vegas once and stayed next door at the Luxor, but we walked through Excalibur and I loved it. That's where I really wanted to stay. Is it that bad? I'm disappointed to hear that... always hoped my next trip to Vegas, I'd get to stay there. I love the whole medieval theme!
