Cutting and bulking are two opposite ends of the spectrum and is hard to obtain both. Many of the others have told you the specific drugs to take but really now a days with items like Armidex bulking and cutting are all about DIET!!! Bulking you eat everything you can get into your throat, cutting you bring your carbs down to almost nothing, I'm on a cutting cycle now where I'm taking 750mg of prop a week, 50mg of anavar per day, 375mg of winstrol per week, 75mg of tren EOD, 600mg of EQ per week, arimidex, t3, super clen etc. My goals are to stay where I am or maybe move up 5-10lbs tops. Even that may be a stretch, because my number one focus is getting lean and ripped. So I eat almost no carbs and 400-500g a day of protein. I'm 210 and 9% so my lbm is 191lbs, If I can get down to 6%bf that means I would have dropped 6lbs of fat, add to that the 5-10lbs I hope to gain and it is realistic to gain 11lbs while cutting if you eat right. Your friend is setting pretty unrealistic goals for himself. If your friend is 220 and 17% that means your lbm is about 183lbs. Lets say that you diet correctly and drop 5% bodyfat that means that you would have dropped 11lbs add your 15-20lbs hoping to gain and there is no way to add 26-31lbs on a cutting cycle.
If you really want to bulk and cut I recommend separating them. Do the bulk first and follow up with the cutting part.
If you take arimidex your gains in lbs will not be as impressive because much of the gain is water and arimidex will cut that water out so you will not gain the 30 desired lbs on a bulking cycle, on the plus side you will keep just about everything you do gain.
Anyway I would recommend something like the following.....
Weeks 1-6 bulking cycle, eat 5-6000 calories a day make sure you eat atleast 400g of protein. Try to keep the rest as clean as possible. Eat things like yams, oatmeal, brown rice, potatos, etc for the carb side.
Weeks 1-6 50mg of dbol a day
Weeks 1-6 Testex(could use prop as well) I'd do 1g per week
Weeks 1-12 4-600mg of EQ
If you are trying to lose some weight and don't really care about the scale pounds you can start taking clen in the first six weeks.
Ok that is the bulking side of it.
During the next six weeks cut your carbs down to 100-150g per day, fats should always be around 20% this is important for dieting b/c you don't want you body to think it is being starved of fat and will hold onto fat reserves.
Weeks 6-12 500mg to 750mg per week of the propianate
Weeks 6-12 100mg of winstrol 3X per week
Weeks 6-12 Go up to 200mcg of clen per day working up, not sure what the thermo clen is but I would do 2 weeks on, one week off.
Weeks 6-12 Work up to 150mcg of T-3 per day
As always make sure you take your clomid EOD and your arimidex every day.
